Who Am I?

My name is Lisa Gumm and I have been interested in crafts for as long as I can remember! My mom taught me the joys (and sometimes frustrations!) of sewing when she would make Christmas and Easter dresses for my sister and me. She also taught me to cross-stitch at a young age.
 
In high school I took a "clothing" class that taught simple sewing and quilting. By then I was hooked! In college I began making costumes for musicals and dramatic productions. I learned how to adapt patterns to meet specific needs...such as designing a chicken costume from a Hershey Kiss pattern!

Since then I have taught school at the elementary level, and have released my extra creative juices on small crafts. In April of 2006 we added our daughter Addie to the family!  I now substitute teach part time and enjoy selling my crafts at local craft fairs in central New York State.

Jan Schoell ~ My mom - my inspiration in the first place! Jan lives in Libertyville, IL and enjoys all kinds of crafts! While being a part-time nurse, she still finds time to sew our Christmas and Easter dresses and knit sweaters for her granddaughters!  Jan is our knit and crochet expert. Many babies across the country have been blessed by her products as baby shower gifts over the years!

Kathryn "Katie" Schoell ~ This is my "little" sister! Katie has loved stamping and creating original cards for several years and has built up quite a collection of stamps!  When she's not stamping, Katie is busy going to college and playing/competing in piano concerts and competitions.
